Ellen MacArthur will inspire and entertain!

It is a principal aim of our organisation to provide a network through which members can communicate and do business together, and what better way to launch the Chambers of Commerce Business Week 2008 than the world champion yachts-woman, Ellen MacArthur.

In November 2004, Ellen set off from Falmouth, UK on board B&Q, she returned 71 days, 14 hours, 18 minutes, 33 seconds later, having sailed over 26,000 miles to become the fastest person to circumnavigate the globe single-handed.

Ellen has been working with E.ON since March 2007 to drive home the importance of energy efficiency to its business customers and help provide real solutions.  Ellen firmly believes that encouraging employers and employees to work in a more enegy efficient way is vital in helping them to shape business cultures that are more in harmony with the world around them.

This is the biggest breakfast of the year and this one promises to be the best yet with more than 100 business people in attendance.

The breakfast will conclude at around 10am, allowing you to start the day one step ahead of the rest.  A seminar presented by Ashmole & Co entitled Growing Your Business Without Growing Your Tax Bill will follow the breakfast.
